Exclamation PLEASE HELP FC3S, Important cant drive with out it!

so today i went to the shop and my friend messed with my switch for the light over and over again and it beeped beeeped again and again...later when i had to drive the car in the night the light on the cluster for the speed and gauges wont light up so now i cant drive in the night time very important thing. and idk if im sure but there is a beep everytime the lights go up to light up the cluster now the beep isnt heard? :/ and now the passenger door is messed up it will lock and unlock from the inside but all of a sudden from the outside the key will not want to go in the hole to lock and unlock it feels jammed? Please help me!
Its a 88 rx7 fc

You tried twisting the smaller **** inside the one that turns on the headlights, yeah?

The spring-loaded key hole cover could have broken off into the key hole. If this is the case, then you will probably need to take the whole tumbler apart in order to remove the broken parts.

A broken key hole cover and spring are shown here in the lower left-hand corner of the picture:

I'm having this problem myself...do you know if there's a how-to on fixing this anywhere? Advice on how difficult it is for someone without experience?

If you have some compressed air, you may be able to blow the parts out from the rear. Same thing happened to me years ago.

The problem is getting the inner panel off of the door if you can't open it. Best bet is to use a coat hanger to unlatch the door.

After that it's just a matter of removing the door panel (a bunch of screws) then disconnecting the rods from the handle mechanism, removing two bolts, removing the handle and finally picking the broken parts out of it.
