PLEASE HELP!! 93 rx7 issues...mech/tech info needed!??
Hello,
I just joined this forum however im very familar with it. For the past two weeks if been trouble shooting my 93 rx7 using every forum i can find to help me. None are exactly like the problem ive having so here it goes.
It died while drifting and hasnt started since.
HERES WHAT I KNOW
1993 rx7 r1 manual
Cranks all day
Mods:
walbro 255
Hydro ebrake
Vacuum delete kit ( previous owner did this crap)
Rebuild with apex 2mm seals
Alum radiator
V mount intercooler with fan on a switch.
symtoms:
No spark
No fuel prime
It cranks all day
Tach does not read anything...did before
No check engine codes or light
Tested:
My compression is 90-100 on all plugs.
I dont think its flooded because i cant get fuel pump to prime.no white mist ,when i try to crank it out of exhaust or plug hole.
I bypassed the clutch and security starter relay.
Coil packs are getting proper ground.
Im ive tested them while attempting to crank and they (all leading and trailling plug wires). do not produce a spark. the coils without wires still no spark created
They are not pulsing any volts when i try to crank.
Ive checked the harness under the front driver wheel and nothing is cut or rubbed.
Fuel pump works but wont prime when i turn key over..its getting power
I REPLACED the egi main relay...still no fire.
REPLACED BATTERY!
My last guess is the ecu. I have one on the way as i type....
It is producing volts. I took it apart and nothing looked burnt or broke solders.
HOWEVER it does a very very minor burn smell....like i can just barly smell a burn in certain spots. But its not obvious untill you take it 100% apart and really sniff lol.
I dought its my CAS sensor but...?
Im almost at a dead end. I didnt add any mods myself..i mistakenly bought it that way.
Ive read countless forums trying to dignose this...none have helped me out.
I hope i can get this baby running again.
