FL Please help 600cfm holley carb on my 13 b

It is running like **** i have a holley blue pump on it right noe fuel pressure fluctuates pump makes weird noises this is my 3rd pump since 3 months...... Use to run fine please help me

have you checked the voltage to the pump yet? If you are going through pumps that would be the first thing I look at. Seconf I would look for foreign matter in the tank ie rust or corrosion. That would clog it causing stress and eventual failure. Next I would check the lines to make sure they can handle the flow given to them this would be like running a 1" charge pipe on a 60+ trim turbine.

im changing out the fuel filter and running a 3/8 fuel line instead of the stock lines

what u got the pressure set at? the holley needs like 6lbs.

yeap! tank dirty, check fuel pump wires, clog fuel filter or line...also clean carb fuel bowls. Hard to really tell with a "running like ****" problem.

i cleaned out pretty much everything ran a 3/8 fuel lines runs good but needs tuning 2X a day and fuel pressure fluctuates form 14psi to 5psi when it runs a little while ??? im just going to sell it to much damn work

yea rxtasty3 we basically have all the same stuff in our cars how fast is your car? and do you have problems killing on turns i cranked my floats down but will still die out any solutions?

im looking to sell or trade its a 85 gsl se 13b 143000 rebuilt by rotary resurrection 7000mi ago im the 3rd owner garage kept new paint job in 2004 streetport auxiliaries full racing beat intake & holly 600cfm with adjust A jets holly blue pump with regulator racing beat full headers to exhaust MSD Ignition Blaster coils 8mm spark wires bosh flat head spark plugs lightweight flywheel steel braided lines to front mounted oil cooler double belt alt pulley no AC 17inch wheels with 1000mi on the tires euro dash display lights and all bushings have been replaced and shocks *** you have to know what your doing with a carb if you get this needs adjusting about every time the weather changes!!! other than that it runs great Im selling it because i need something more practical and good on gas I have ALL the paper work from the previous owners on all the Engine work Invoices ect.... even a little book he would write in about it the car pics are on my profile pics the car has about 4000 of work done in all to it IM currently stationed in Camp Lejeune, NC im looking to selling it for 6700 my #3372805838 if any Qs

if cranking floats down u mean lowered the float level, u got it too low and it's running the carb out of gas. and yes i have the same problem with it bogging on hard cornering. it's just the characteristics of the holley due to the way they're positioned on the intake(sideways) than the way they're normally run on a V8.

ive had it run very nicely before on the turns but its my fuel pressure bounces up and down and messes up the float level
