The ignition on my car is toast(for lack of a better word)... the key lock cylinder is gone. The guy who owned it before me had it sold to him with no keys. Instead of getting it keyed he just ripped it out to use a screwdriver... which worked until my friend tried to start it and twisted to hard so now the metal piece that the key lock turns just spins all day and on occasion turns the radio on... Woo that dont help me.

I live in SW Washington and there is a great lack of first gen rx7 in the wrecking yards so I was wondering... since in 1983 mazda only made 5 or 6 different vehicles(i.e. b2000, 626, b2200, GLC, and the RX7), would these vehicles have similar or the same ignition?

Would there also be any other parts that could be taken off another(more popular) mazda vehicle and put on an rx7?
