this is my first car but i am not new to workin with motors. it is a 1986 rx7 gxl non turbo it cranks but wont start. i checked it is getting spark and the tachometer bumps up and down. when i first got it all the fuses were in wrong so i checked my hanes manual and got that fixed so now all the electrical works properly. i have tried deflooding it by pulling the egi fuse and cranking it and then putting it back in and trying to start it but still cranks but wont start. please help i really wanna get this car running but am at a loss in what to do next.

 

Are you actually getting fuel? That is, when you deflooded, did big clouds of unburned fuel exit the spark plug holes?

yes they did friend came and helped but still no luck

 

Try a push start with another vehicle. If the car is seriously flooded, this is often the easiest way to fix it.

 

ok i will be trying this tomorrow because my friend with a truck couldnt help today but when i try this i will let u know the result

 

ok now there is coolant leaking out of one side and leaking from the other side is what seems to be a mixture of oil and gas someone please help this is my first car and my hopes were high but now my heart is sinking and i am losing faith
