Picking up my FD RX7 in a week

In about a week I will leave to pick up my 1st ever RHD FD RX7. I'm taking a plane to Florida and planning on driving it back for 17 hours. Any recommendations for long trips in the RX7?

ON

Congrats on your FD RX7!
  • Get a car bra or make arrangements to have a clear bra installed before heading back to PA.
  • Get some engine oil and/or premix while you're in Florida. Maybe some rad coolant and some blue shop towels as well.
  • A tire pressure gauge, air pump, and a basic hand tool set (just in case).
  • 12v -> USB adapter for your phone.
  • Map out any rotary specialist shops along your travel route back to PA.

I'm sure there will be other suggestions as well.

Oh and most important .. enjoy your new RHD FD RX7!

Also, some kind of light in case you have issues at night.
Make sure the jack is in the car and the spare. I'd say get a plug kit too, just in case.
Make sure your road side assistance plan is up to date too.

Watch those coolant temps...If a power fc is installed, keep it under 90C. If stock ECU, don't let it move above half.

And of course, enjoy the trip in your "new" FD.

Thanks for the advice. I will make sure to go to AutoZone and grab a kit and a light. I'm excited to upload pictures and be involved more in the club!
