Hello, I have a 1980 with the 12A & automatic transmission stock thats overall still in good shape except for some minor things that go along with it's age. I managed to find a guy selling an 83 FB that had had a blown engine(he'd scrapped it already), but the car came with another engine he had pulled from an 85 GS with 180k miles that ran when he pulled it to replace it with a small block chevy. Anyway, the motor spins freely, but am unsure whether to sell it or keep it around. Not even sure what it would be worth if I did. My biggest question though is I'm wondering what all parts are interchangeable between an SA and FB. The floorpan and rear suspension mounts are completely rusted through. I blame Indiana winters with salt applications on that. Any tips, tricks, advice anyone wants to offer would be greatly appreciated.

most of the cars can quite literally bolt up interchangeably. the rest pretty much requires minimal-level ingenuity to make the parts fit. obviously, i'm not including vastly different things like the rear fascia in my response though.
