Overheating Problem?

My friends Rx7 3rd gen if ran hard for say 30 minutes or just ran for a couple of hours its temperatue gage reaches as much as 90 to 100celsius. If i turn the car off at this point it will jump as much as 20celsius. Is this normal in RX7 or is their something wrong.

On a FD 100C or 212F isnt that uncommon, search FD Fan Mod

normal. Fan mod is essential along with bigger radiator if you don't already have. Vented hood helped me a lot in florida heat
