OMP Removal Issue
So while doing a lot to the engine I decided to do premix vs. engine oil. So I've removed the OMP and placed a block of plate. Now my question, I've been adding about 5-6 ounces of oil to the gas mainly for protection, now I know that with no OMP i need to be doing about 1 ounce per gallon, roughly. Would I be able to just mix in 15 ounces of oil to 5 gallons of gas and then dump that in my tank to cover for the removed OMP?
My main concern is not having enough premix in the gas when I start her up here in 2 days. Any advice would be great.

It's 1 oz. per gallon of gas total. Are you talking about adding extra oil into a partial tank of gas w/ less premix? If so, then just do the math and add roughly the correct amount. You'll find that if you start adding too much oil, you can start getting smoke from the exhaust.

Yeah, so I've been premixing (very little) just as a back up and for extra lube. So the gas in there has less then 4oz of oil. I just removed the OMP and want to make sure if I were to dump 6-8oz of oil in with the gas if that would be enough premix with no OMP. Does that make sense?
