oil temp sender questions
i just put in an aftermarket oil temp guage and it came with a sender. i hooked it up accordingly and it maxes the guage out automatically. if i disconnect one power wire from it it goes back down to lowest. lights are still on and everything. now its jumping a tiny bit at the bottom. do u think this is my stock oil temp sender going out? and i should just install the one the came with the guage? my stock guage reads a tad bit sometimes and others it dont even move from the bottom. any help plz.

Go to the local hydraulic store and get an adapter that goes from 1/8" BSP to whatever your sender is...
But uh, where are you putting this sender? There is only one stock oil port and that is for the pressure gauge.

well right next to my pressure sender is the stockoil temp sender. looks exactly like the one that came with the guage. it just doesnt send information. and if the only stock oil port is for the sender than does that mean my oil temp sender isnt stock? i mean its right next to my trailing sparkplug on the side closest to the firewall.
