Oil light

Hi there. Recently bought my second rx7. It's had a full engine rebuild but been garaged for 2 years but started fairly regularly. I drove it home about 120 miles. Towards the end of my journey the oil light on the dash came on intermittantly. Someone said it is maybe because it just needs a service. Any help would be very grateful. Cheers jamie

What year is the car?

Did you check the oil level? Perhaps it is low.

The oil level sensors is on the spark plug side of the oil pan. It's a single wire that leads to a sensor held on with 3 bolts. Check to make sure that wire isn't shorting to ground.
