Oil filler neck removal

I need help on how to remove the oil filler neck. Cant find a video and the neck is pressed in so I’ve been trying to remove it but I don’t wanna damage it.

I think when I had to do this, the way that ended up working was to get a piece of 2x2 or 2x4 and hold it up against the lip of the filler, and then tap it out with a hammer. You might have to move the piece of wood around to different sides so it comes out evenly. Heating the iron with a torch and then spraying the inside of the filler with an aerosol spray (comes out of the can cold) would make it a little easier, just don't burn yourself.

If the wood piece doesn't work, you could sub in a piece of brass or other soft metal and try to tap it out using that.
