OEM Ignition Switch No Power

93 Twin Turbo Stock

So I have my car in a restoration shop and this is freaking crazy. Car wasn't starting, found out the starter was bad with my multimeter. Had it tested and confirmed, then repaired it.

Still won't start.

Check coils, not getting enough power. Checked at the ignition switch. .5 volts so there you have it right. When the switch is turned it powers on aux and cranks starter but doesn't push enough volts.

Replace ignition switch with OEM... no aux, no crank, nothing. Figured it was a bad part. Replace with a 2nd and same thing.

Noticed with the old one if I turn it over with a screw driver it starts. Installed with the key however it will not start.

Any input guys?

Still no advice? Bump with new info.

My ignition switch is getting really hot, smoke coming from it at one point. This is a new switch btw.

I find the part that holds the discs that rotate is coming loose from the black housing with the electrical prongs. Sometimes acc and starter wont even power up and I have to electric tape the thing so it isn't loose. It makes contact but still becomes very warm and I fear my fans may not be running when I need them.

The black w/ green stripe wire from the switch is becoming very hot. On the switch the wire that matches the prong is BT1.

Any thoughts?
