Obtaining RX7 in US that came from Canada shell
Hello all,
As the title states, I’m looking in buying and 1993 rx7 fd that is currently in the U.S. with NO title. It came from canada about about 5 y we are back as a roller. The owner had it on the streets for he used a Miata VIN that was on the oil pan. That motor is currently not on the car anymore. He said he has some paperwork from the bringover he’s currently looking for.
ANY input or knowledge will help. I’d it possible to get this thing on US roads?? I’ve looked into it but this seems to be a unique situation since it is already here.
thank you all for you help!

You will have to co sult your state's law on obtaining a title. Here in Ohio it would not be possible without owning a business, having the vehicle on the property, having the customer flake on payment for services rendered on the vehicle, and filing for a title, stating the vehicle is abandoned. Some states require only a bill of sale to obtain a title.

California is in this place where the rules are so derpy that they don't even understand them, so with enough persistence you can pretty much do anything you want, although JDM cars are tricky
