Noob trans question

Can someone tell me if the 5spd on my 12a will mount to a 13b? Having carb/vac/idle issues and just wanna make the switch but all the 13b's I'm finding are all auto :/
Thanks for helping this rotary noob out!

now will it bolt up to any 13b or does the trans that comes off the 13b have to be manual as well? i.e. can i bolt up my 12a 5spd trans to a 13b that used to have an auto behind it?

I believe for the swap i need the engine, front cover gsl-se, oil pan gsl-se, engine mount adapters and the drive shaft slightly shortened. Correct me if im wrong. This noobie much appreciates it

you will need to obtain a manual or aftermarket flywheel, but other than that, yes. it bolts up just fine. there is no driveshaft issue if you're keeping your tranny.

yah its the internal bores on the rotor housing that changes. this is true even of the new 16x. externals of all wankels are for the most part the same. flywheel is your biggest concern, also the counter weights are different i believe.
