no turn signal or horn help please
I have searched the forums but havent been able to figure this out. I have no turn signals left or right or on dash, but the switch will still function my headlight dimmer, which makes me think the switch itself is fine.
So i though maybe bulbs were bad, but when I turn the hazards on all my blinkers act as they should as well as the dash indicators. And i can hear the clicking, which makes me think the wiring is ok because they are working. When i try to use the blinkers i dont get any clicking or anything.
Also, if i am driving and i turn the signal on, when i make the turn it doesnt cancel. The switch stays in the same position, with no output to the blinkers.
Also, the horn doesn't work at all; no clicks or anything. From what i understand of the wiring diagrams, the hazards and blinkers work together in the cpu. If thats the case, the cpu would be good? Or am i misunderstanding this? And is the horn a seperate issue, or are they related in the cpu or wiring? The car is an 88 vert.
