no heat in my 1987 rx7 non turbo

wondering why why heat doesnt work does it have something to do with my a/c pump having no belt ?

The AC is unrelated.

Does the heater core heat up when you turn the heat on? If yes, then the valve is fine.

Does the fan blow?

Can you hear the little air mix motor run to move the baffle when you slide the temperature slider from cold to hot? If not, then it may be either the motor or the logicon.

the motor blower does come on not sure if the heater core heats up i will check that today
and i will also listen for the air mix motor too thanks for your reply aaron i will let you know the results
