No Boost Smoke from passenger side engine bay

93 Rx7 R1 108xxx miles rebuilt engine around 50xxx but still original turbos. Has HKS boost controller on stock twins
Had this FD in my family sense before i can remember drove it a few times when i was younger finally bought the thing from my uncle who let it rot/sit for 10 yrs give or take. My dad was driving the car to me from Illinois to Cali when slave cyl went out and it went into the shop and the clutch/flywheel needed to be replaced as well so $1700 later the car was fixed and my dad towed it the rest of the way. Drove the car around and had no boost and noticed a very small amount of smoke from the passenger side engine bay along with a terrible smell took a look around and figured it was probably brake fluid burning off from the leak.and new clutch smell. Need the car to get around and it ran normal other than the lack of boost so i have been driving it for work aprox 10 miles a day for the past 2 weeks. Smell mostly gone now and haven't noticed any smoke from the engine bay but i did notice some from the exhaust when i revved it but could not get it to smoke again from the exhaust later when i asked a friend to look while i revved it. Looked underneath and noticed droplets that look like oil on the flange where the downpipe connects to the midpipe (not sure if that is the right term but its where the cat used to be) immediately thought turbo seals but then thought it could be leftover fluid from when the slave cyl went out.
