How do I tell what nick I have I was told it was off an 84 but does not look like the 84 I have. The fuel lines are not side by side on top of carb but enter carb one on top of one another plus no lines are going to ether side of carb from main fuel point. Can you help try to up load photos later.

Can you show us a photo of the top with the lines pictured? Most of the Nikkis I have seen have 2 lines coming into the carb top but no lines going to any other point on the carb. They did make them for other companies, so maybe it is designed for another vehicle?

currently, my only ideas are: (1) it's either been modified or (2) it's for a pre-Rx-7 12A car or (3) it's for models in another market (Europe, Australia, etc.).

this definitely has my interest now though.

its a RX-2/3 carb, not RX-7. there is a big button and small button mixture screw on the base of the carb and the plug (i forget what it is called) on the airhorn. However, I somewhat dont recall the carb body being like that.

better view of my old modded carb (built back in the 80s, ideas were from the guys at tripoint)

I'd say that's an RX-2 carb from the twin dizzy era, but it's been a while since I've seen one.

The OMP inlets are in the red circles. The green circle is the fuel inlet and outlet fitting. Both are 5/16" which tells me it's a 1973 carb (twin dizzy). Later carbs had a simpler inlet outlet fitting with 5/16" inlet and 1/4" outlet sizes.

its a good carb, way better than RX-7 carb IMHO; except many have switched to RX-7 as rebuilt kit and such are hard to find or NLA.
