I got turned on to the Gen 2 RX7 by a friend of mine so I am trying to learn about different abbreviations, year changes, etc.

I am interested in buying a 88 GTU. I heard the TII versions had 4.11 gears and a factory style posi/traclok (whatever it is called)

Did the '88 GTU come with a better rear than a std. RX7 ?

Also, what does S4 and S5 stand for ?

Is there a section for engine swap builds, info, etc?

Models with LSDs are listed. Many NA models had 4.1 LSD rear ends; it was not just on TIIs.
