New RX7 owner who needs a hand
I bought a 1985 RX7 1.1L 12a and didn't notice it had all of it's stock exhaust removed. I am in the process of rebuilding it and I currently have this
and I need a pipe from that to the muffler.
I have the part number right here
it's a Bosal 834-335 and 833-335.
I have taken the car to a few muffler places with just the race piper (yes it's extremely loud and illegal) and they all have said they need the cats to work on it and all of them said they don't agree with that but that is whats necessary to do work on it.
I am introducing myself here because I am in search of that part listed above, it's getting really cold here in Wisconsin and I need my car to get me from work and school, it's too cold to be riding a bike anymore.

if it is and you want to lessen it , you can add an aftermarket cat , or you can add a resonator or both . you can also add a bigger muffler .

Check out the exhaust page of Mazdatrix.com.
The pipe you pictured replaces the first three cats. So you'll need the connecting pipe and muffler to make an exhaust.
The most economical way would be to find a stock one for sale locally. Get a few more posts and you should be able to post in your regional forum and 1st gen parts section. Hopefully they can deliver if you only have a bike as transportation.

You can get by with a Fabricated exhaust as long as it has a catalytic.
That pipe has a Resonator which is NOT a Cat.
Look up the Exhaust routing in the Factory service manual (Foxed.ca) Or teh 1st gen Specific section.
The Pre-cats(first 2) are really not necessary for Emissions testing, so if the Mechanic tells you that,go elsewhere.
