Im still new to rotary engines still, but the info in this book has been very helpful.

I suggest all to read this book. Its only about $15 on Amazon, and is called:
Street Rotary HP1549: How to Build Maximum Horsepower & Reliability into Mazda's 12a, 13b & Renesis Engines

Yep. Christmas gift three or four years ago. Probably a little simple for the really advanced guy...which I'm not. So I liked it.
I also thought the author was pretty even handed when dealing with the eternal controversies....synthetic vs. mineral; sequentlal vs. single (FD); MOP or premix vs MOP/reservoir etc.

Nice. Is there any one "must have" book if I'm learning to work on a rotory?

The FSM for your vehicle is an invaluable source of information. They are available online, but I have a copy I bought 8 years ago that is now well used. I would suggest buying one or printing one up. It helps having it to refer to when you're in the middle of working on the car.

You can download a copy for free (from the stickys in the 3rd Gen. Section) --->https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/94-fsms-available-download-449950/
And hardcopies come up occasionally in the FS section. FWIW -----> https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ghlight=manual

I'll have to get that book thanks for the info. And that is really cool that there's a printable version of the FSM.

Many of the links don't seem to be working though. If you can't get them to work or can't find one, PM me and I can email you a copy.

That is indeed a great book. One of the things that makes it such a nice reference is that Mark actually talked to the community, and used pictures from real builds as examples.

Oh, and FC FSM: http://foxed.ca/foxed/index.php?page=rx7manual
