Question New mem writing in tech sct. auto/manual conversion 1990 rx7 transmission mount probl

Hello guys my name is Josh recently i been doing myself a automatic to manual transmission conversion to a 1990 Mazda rx7 I'm almost done but haven't finish because I don't know what to do. Becuase, my transmission mount is like 4 inches away from the chassis not exactly sure if its 4 inches just an estimate so the transmission mounts are closer to the engine than were its suppose to be. I saw a forum on how to do the whole conversion but I don't understand how to do the custom transmission mounts i need to see it visually to understand or just clearer instruction for me. I will really appreciate if I get pictures of some done and I'll apriciate the help and the replies thanks in advance

Well, you have two choices.

You can cut and weld the transmission mount so it lines up.

Or you can drill the spot welds out of the mounts on the car, move them forward, and re-weld.
