new, and have a couple questions

well i have a couple question about my car. its a 95 rx7 and its been running fine but i had one encounter with it not starting on the frist turn over. It was after drving on the freeway for about 10 or 15 min. i turned it off, came back and tried to turn it on, turned over fine but didnt start up, tried it again and statred right up. its only happened once but i read somewhere that it might be a sign of low compression?

also i found a place where they sell 100 and 110 octane at the pump (hear in california what a miracle) my question was if 110 would be over kill on a nearly stock engine i just have apex'i intakes a down pipe and exhaust.

thank you so much for taking the time to read this

110 or even 100 is overkill on a stock engine absolutely.

Seems like it is starting to flood out. There are a variety of reasons for this and yes low compression is one of them. If you are worried just take it in and get a compression test done.

First thing you should do whenever you buy a turbo rotary is get a compression test. How much vacuum does the car show at idle?

One lone event shouldn't get you paranoid.

Are there any good rotary shops near you?
