New guy here, was just given a '84 Rx7 GSL-SE

Hey everyone, a customer of mine had it just sitting next to his house and i asked him about it and he asked if i wanted it. The car has been sitting for about 10 yrs and has 189k miles on it, and i got it to crank over so far, i'm planning on changing at least the sparkplugs and fuel filter to see if that will help to get her to fire up. Any other advice? I read that a fuel pump replacement might have to be done also?

Thanks in advance, Chris

drain and clean the gas tank, blow out the gas lines with air, replace the fuel filter, and get the injectors rebuilt. While doing this, pour some MMO into the rotor housings and give the engine a turn here and there to help loosen up any seals, after you do that all, put gas in it and turn the key and pray

mind you I'm not saying that this will make the car start, but its a very good first steps, especially since the motor has been sitting, the MMO will help loosen carbon up so that even if it won't start, then you'll be able to do a compression test and know your at least getting decent results due to free moving seals in the rotors
