New GA Troll Here Looking For Rim Tech

Hey guys. My name is Frank. I do not own an RX-7 nor do I intend to own one. I am simply here to try and source a pair of RX-7 rims. I understand that there are two different types as Mazda went with a different manufacturer mid 93 do to cracking issues with the earlier ones. Anyway I own a Supra and need these rims for my drag setup. I understand you need 5 posts before posting up in the for sale area so I am trying to respect the forum rules here.

So if you have some of the re-enforced RX-7 rims let me know. Thanks guys.

We'll have to see what the rim guru's have got to say but I do know this.

It's TEN legitimate posts to be able to solicit the Classifieds, not five.

Thanks for hacking my thread to pieces... I understand you getting on about the posts but seriously changing the title and hacking up the post? Whatever I guess its your guy's board. FYI you might want to change what it says under the classifieds then... Quote, "Non-Vendors are required to have at least 10 posts to start a For-Sale thread, and at least 5 posts to respond to an existing thread." As I stated I am trying to PURCHASE not sell.

Also why do I need a rim tech? Just wondering since you put that up there. I am not asking a question about the rims. I just didn't want to clutter up your forums with useless BS so I thought I would get straight to the point.

The "five posts" refers to the general board and not to the classifieds.

"I understand that there are two different types as Mazda went with a different manufacturer mid 93 do to cracking issues with the earlier ones."...?

Looks like a tech question to me. Let's see if someone knows the answers.

Wait a second... Sounds like a question? I never asked a question... lol Look at the first two words... "I UNDERSTAND." I am not asking for someone to answer any questions. I am simply stating that I understand that there are two different types of RX-7 rims for the 93+ models and I am looking for the reinforced kind. This is basically like me saying that I understand that there is more then one model or generation made of the RX-7 and I am looking for the last model/generation to purchase. Then you edit my post and say it sounds like a tech question.

Also I dont know if you have seen this or not but if you go to the index page of this site and scroll down you will see all the different sections of this board in grey. Scroll down far enough till you get to the classified section and look what is underneath it. Another grey box that says, "Non-Vendors are required to have at least 10 posts to start a For-Sale thread, and at least 5 posts to respond to an existing thread." That is very specific to the "classified" section. I really am not trying to be a dick or start anything here but I just don't understand the way you are treating me man. I came over here looking for a specific item and I clearly stated that I was trying to follow the rules so I posted an "About me" thread to INTRODUCE myself to the community. While I was intriducing myself I included what my purpose was on this forum. That was to source RX7 rims. Somehow my thread got turned into a tech help thread. Instead of not following the rules I brought my post count up to 5 so that I could post in the for sale section. I went into the new members thread and commented on a few peoples introduction thread and all my posts got deleted. If there is a problem then I would not have problem with you deleting my posts or correcting them. I just don't see how you can turn my post into what you think it should be when I am following the rules.

Whoa there, pump the brakes. The way you phrased it kinda sounds like you're unsure and looking for some confirmation. If not, great. It really doesn't matter. Mar3 just bumped your thread in case you actually were looking for help. Getting worked up over nothing is going to punch your ticket out of here.

Got it man... I just don't see how it seems like a question. I simply stated that I undestand that there were two different rims. Then two sentences later it says, "I am looking for the reinforced rims." Maybe I am wrong. I just don't see how this is a question.

Yea. They were gigantic like the engine shot. This is an RX-7 website. Though everyone likes Subie's, Supra's and Mitsi's, we don't like looking at them here.

The over-sized snail saved the last pic.

Alright now let me ask you. How come you keep deleting my posts in the for sale section? I have the required post count. Anyway I just want to post in there and buy a set of rims... lol They faster that happens the faster I am gone. By the way, here is my first hudge contribution to the forums... lol http://books.google.com/books?id=AUs...0black&f=false

Page 54 iirc... That will close this so called question. Thanks.

Why so touchy Supradude? We are generally less thugged out than the majority of the vehicle forums so no need to be so defensive, bud. Good luck finding your wheels.
