Will s5 instrument console fit a s4

I was wondering if a s5 instrument console will fit a s4...mine is cracked and i saw this carbon fiber one and it looks sick and wanted to make sure it will work before i buy it.......thanks

You mean the instrument cluster, right? As in the tach, speedo, etc...? If so, you can't just stick it in an S4 car. You'd have to re-pin the two plugs that run to the back of the cluster, which is about 15-20 wires. The S5 temperature gauge is also a piece of crap; the S4 one is actually linear and useful. The S5 one has 3 settings: cold, warm & rebuild.

If you are talking about the idiot gauge surround which I think you are then no the s5 one will not fit in an s4 unless you change the entire dash.

Im actually talking about the plastic in the middle that goes around the cd player heater control and vents.. i didnt mean to call it an instrument console.

Then that's a different story entirely. You can use the S5 stereo surround on an S4, as long as you have the vents too. I have one in my car, and the rubberized plastic is MUCH better.
