New feller

Hi, my name is Santiago and I'm new here. Recently bought a first generation Mazda RX7 with a five speed and power everything, and the 12a rotary motor.
Came here because I'm having small troubles with it and want to connect with the community.
I can't post in the first generation section, so I'll go ahead and ask my questions here.
I have hesitation from the car when giving it gas from a stop, and when putting the pedal down to pass someone. I assume this is the carburetor. I've made some minor adjustments and nothing seems to work. There's a lot of damage on the carburetor like it was a 'backup' unit until the previous owner could get a good one on. I'm wondering if anyone knows where to obtain a stock or near stock first generation carburetor? I have no clue what brands came on the car.
I also have rust / chipping on the belt line of my drive pully, and will need a replacement for that as well, or a whole pulley set (trying to stay stock but will tolerate an 'underdrive' type of setup).

All in all, I'm a cool laid back guy from a cool laid back state, and once I get these problems fixed it's time to start just cruising the old girl around, I'm quite tired of driving my SHO except on roadtrips.

Nice to meet you guys!
