New to Fd3S... wipers + idle

HI Guys

I got my 1st FD yesturday I just have 2 issues!

Wipers, I found the fuse had been taken out.. put it back inn and they just keep going, no speed adjustment or not able to switch them off! They were working when the car left japan

I read that it could be the combination switch? Is there a relay i can check or that? Im in South Africa, soo I dont want to import somthing if i dont have to.

2nd thing, my car idle's really really low im guessing about 6000, 7000 rpm, is there a way to turn the idle up or is that correct?

thanks

Congrats on the purchase. Spend some time reading the 3rd gen FAQ thread to learn more about the car and repairs and mods.

No idea on the wipers so lets see what others say in this forum. I will move this to the main 3rd gen forum if no one chimes in here.

Regarding idle, it could be a few different things. Start by tell us what mods you have. Use the FSM and/or the FAQ thread to identify and verify operation of your hot wax rod and presence of the idle control solenoid. There are a few threads on the topic of adjusting and troubleshooting idle in the FAQ that should also help you.
