Just got a 91 non-turbo RX-7 and there are a couple of issues I'm currently dealing with. First off, I have the dreaded idling problem which I read about in the FAQ's, I'll work on that. I'm having a problem with my A/C. In order to turn the A/C on I have to make sure to press the switch in a little so the A/C cuts on. That worked at first but now even with the A/C light on the vents turn on and off at random. Anyone know what the problem could be? Any help would be appreciated, I live in Miami and A/C is essential down here. I have more questions but this is my biggest concern at the moment.

 

Sounds like a loose connection or the logicon is messing up

 

Now does the AC blow cold air?

It could be acting up like that if its low on refrigerant because of the low pressure.
