GA New exhaust recommendations

Looking at upgrading my exhaust very soon. I dont want anything ridiculously loud. I hear that HKS is raspy sounding. I really like the Greddy Racing TI but someone has told me that it is really loud. Does anyone have a recommendation. Is anyone using a Blitz Nur Spec exhaust or Apexi. I hear the Apexi can be loud too. I want something that is not very noticeable cruising around but still flows very well. Thanks

Ah the good old pipe dream. High flow and low sound. It seems to me that a lot of the time those two things are mutually exclusive...

That being said; I do hear very good things about setups from Racing Beat. They might be the ones to look into. If you do a search on them I'm sure you'll find tons of info.

Racing Beat makes a good subtle exhaust for the FD. All of their exhaust systems are great.

They make both single and dual tips systems for it.

Racingbeat duals and Apexi N1s are the most common it seems.

My FD is almost completely stock. It has 63K original miles on it. The only mods at this time are a Greddy intake and a cheap-o down pipe that were on the car when I purchased it. My goals are to get somewhere between 350-400whp and. I will be replacing the downpipe for a better fitting one. So im looking for an exhaust that will flow enough for 400hp and not be obnoxiously loud.

Call up racing beat. They have been doing rotaries for over 20 years.

I see you are in ATL too, I'm in Cobb county and I have a PFS system on mine thats very quiet and flows well. I'll probably be selling it cheap pretty soon for something louder. If you want to check it out then pm me and we can meet up sometime.

I'm in the Kennesaw area and I have a PFS system I may be getting rid of for something louder. If you want to meet up sometime to see and hear it send me a pm.

The apexi N1 on my car is like retarted loud some times i have to think out loud just to hear myself. LOL. but it has a very good tone and sounds good. Im thinking of going with the Nur spec R it seems to be a good flowing and somewhat quite exhaust.

I love my Racing Beat dual tip. It looks great and gives a low growl when you get on it but quiets down at cruising speeds. I got mine a while back so I cannot comment on Jett's comment regarding the newer ones compared to the older ones.
