The power steering computer is completely unrelated.

The buzzer is only linked to 3 things: low coolant, low oil, or redline. Since you're obviously not at redline all the time, check the coolant level sensor (top of radiator) & the oil level sensor (driver-side oil pan). If the wiring to either is damaged, or they're just unplugged, the buzzer will go off constantly.

I had the same problem with my 89

I replaced the sensor (about $50), but it still malfunctioned. I resolved it by putting dielectric grease on the connector. Good luck.

Good or if you see any corrosion on connector area little sandpaper or wire brush it off too.
Maybe check those 20year old ground connections in the engine bay aaroncake has a great write up for cleaning, inspecting, and fixing things like this for a 2nd gen.

Maybe it is going off because the coolant *is* low? There is a special procedure for topping off the coolant in these cars, just filling it up at the cap will trap air in the system. Are you familiar with the bleed screw at the top right of the radiator?
