Lambo Doors
I haven't seen a lot of Rx-7's with them but has anyone designed a kit to work with the stock doors on an Rx-7 and make them work as Lambo doors?

It's your car man. Do what you want with it. Some guys are chubby chasers. Some guys like pancake butts. Some guys are *** guys and others are boob guys. Haha. Same goes for the Seven. To all their own. But personally...I wouldn't do lambo doors either. Lol

I myself agree about the lambo doors but as they say to each his own. Hope this helps you in your cause to better your ride. Good luck

I've noticed them in the classifieds section on here a couple of times. Usually go for around $400. You can easily find kits specifically made for the RX7 at the following:

as well as here:

I don't like the style either, but if you do that's all that matters. You'll want to buy a high end kit, over time the cheap ones will crack, bend, and break, this occurs for various reasons, like weak shocks, cheap or inadequate metal bracing, poor design etc. the above ones are two of the better examples available.
Another factor that might get annoying, is that it is more difficult to get in and out of the car, the actual opening area of the door is decreased due to being partially blocked by the vertical door. Again some of the better kits will swing slightly out as well, similar to a gull wing style to compensate for this.
Hope this help you make up your mind.
