Need TPS Adjustment details or photos ASAP PLEASE!!!
Need TPS Adjustment details or photos ASAP PLEASE!!!
So my new 88 vert had a little bounce of the revs at idle. I had a new TPS from my other RX and put it in. I went around the block once just fine, second time around it was like I had no power and the throttle pedal didnt do anything. The car ran fin prior to this changing of TPS's. I put the old one back in and the same thing.
If anyone has a detailed way of checking or adjusting the TPS please help as this is/was my only working car.
Any photos would be a blessing also.
Thanks guys.

I found a way to Adjust your TPS.
It was Tough, but I did it!
I typed in TPS adjustment in The Search Function and came up with this: https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generati...-101-a-235007/ .
That was only one thread.I would post up the other 250 or so threads(really) But I have to take the dog for a pee...ah hell,here:https://www.rx7club.com/search.php?searchid=10935884
Enjoy the read.Cheers.

I did find the TPS adjust 101 thread. I do not know which screw is the adjustment screw. The are several screws by the throttle body and I fear turning random screws may worsen my situation.
IF ANYONE CAN POST A PICTURE OF THE ADJUSTMENT SCREW I WILL BE IN YOUR DEBT.
THANKS!!!

Were you not told "Its encased in a spring and is about one inch long flathead and at the front of the throttle body." It's part of the throttle linkage at the front of the throttle body and is one inch long and encased in a spring and it likes to be screwed with a falt head screwdriver. What more do you need to know. Find the throttle linkage on the front and press on it. If it floats up and down and if it changes the length of the TPS rod then you found the linkage. This linkage has a screw in it as described above.
Found this, it has pictures. While it does not have the most detailed write up the pictures still can help some people (like me).
