NEED HELP! weird prob..

NEED HELP! weird prob..

i have a 87 rx7 n/a, i can only start my car if i jump start it, or right after i charge the battery. the alternator checks out, its all good. but if i turn my car off the battery is immediatly dead. the battery looks new, maybe a couple months old. any ideas? the starter and everything works good

Sounds like a dead battery.

Also check the conditions of the cables which connect to the battery.

they seem good. fired right up this morning, but i only charged the battery for a minute or two at a buddys. hope it starts after the movie i go to..

take the battery to auto zone and have them test it for free

Do an amperage draw test if the battery is good.

Charge the battery overnight.
Be sure the connections are tight.

also check ur main fuses on the box could be a blown main fuse which prevents the juice from running to the battery from the alternator..... make sure u inspect all of em...

If the main fuse was blown, most of the car wouldn't work.
