Need help removing rear axles...

Hey, have an 88 vert replacing the rear axles with 91 TII axles but i'm having the hardest time removing them. I already freed them from the rear diff. Am i supposed to remove the the shocks in order to remove them? Thanks!

Do you realize you won't be able to use TII half shafts with an N/A diff? You'll need a TII diff, which also means a custom driveshaft.

correct..

you cant mix t2 axles and n/a diff.. because the axles are bigger and will not bolt up at all to the n/a diff.

and yes you will need to remove the shocks in order to get them out....

Oh yes i did realize that, sorry. Thanks, i'll have to buy a spring compressor then. I'm just doing a TII swap into the vert and have only been able to work on it on my days off (tuesday wednesday) and the weather here in NY hasn't stayed consistent enough to finish the whole swap. So its taken a lot longer than scheduled.
