i got every thing disconnected engine raised off the mounts only things left is to remove the slave cyl and detach the trans from the engine

my first queastion is how many bolts need to be removed while your under the car i only see 1 its 14mm hard as hell to get loose

after all bolts are gone from the engine/ trans i counted 4 and one long 1 from the starter and. the hardest bolt ever thats under the car

are you working on a Prius?..NO?
then you should state your car Series and engine.

Different cars, different ways to remove an engine.Try to supply as much info as you can and your questions can get answered efficiently.

Put the engine back down on the mounts. You probably have the bolt bound-up making it hard to remove.

if it is an N/A then there is a bolt inside the starter hole where the starter sits in the trans.

I always took the trans out with the engine.
Reason being that the pilot bearing could get damaged upon removal then the new one get damaged on install.
