i have a 88 turbo 2 my left headlight will not go down. also my battery keeps going dead with the key out of the ignition. please help

 

Please pass this into the forum I am a new member and I can't get in. Seatbelt Recall Notice is Mazda Recall Number 68702. The recall is for the life of the car.

 

Well it could be that the motor is still trying to lower/raise the headlight after the car is off, this could be a bad position switch, Motor shorted, Gear box problem. Pull the headlight motor fuse and see if the cars battery keeps a charge. Under the front of the car there is a small round **** that if you turn will manually raise and lower the headlight, there is one per side.
