Need help with bridgeport rebuild not running

Hey guys, first post here!

My rebuilt engine wont start!
Recently, I took the perfectly healthy engine out of my manual 1988 NA vert to bridgeport it. We used the racing beat template, but also bridged the other ports, so all six of them have bridges. We also cut the baffles out of the exhaust and lengthened that port as well. We used a micrometer to gauge all of the seals and all were within spec. All of the rubber seals were also reused and seemed to be in good condition. We reassembled it, put it back in the car, now with a dellorto 48 IDA and using the factory crank angle sensor for spark. However, it just won't start.

We compression tested it (with regular piston engine tester), and got 120 psi in each housing. We made sure that we have spark, made sure that we have fuel, and reset the timing to factory. The starter is brand new and cranking over fine as well. However, the carb just didn't seem to suck in fuel, and the stock injection system didnt work when we threw it on either. It would sputter, but never catch on its own, and even pop starting it wouldn't work. Start fluid hasn't helped either. It has been a few months now, and we tried again. Now, with a boost/vacuum gauge hooked up to the intake manifold, we are getting zero vacuum. With a new compression test, we are now only getting 40-60 psi in each rotor housing. We tore the rats nest out and have capped anything that might be a vacuum leak, but still don't have vacuum.

Could it be that the port job ruined the engine?
Could the starter be turning the wrong direction?
Could it be related to the coolant and other accessory systems not being hooked up?
Is there just a massive vacuum leak somewhere?

Any help is appreciated, we have spent so many hours on this.

Thanks!
