Could be damn near anything.

A complete list of mods would help greatly.

For example, the car is probably running a standalone EMS, so it is quite possible that the tune is just very poor.

Any modified turbo car I have ever owned, I always put an Innovate LC1 Wideband on it... That one simple sensor/gauge combo will tell you a whole lot about your engine... You could just be running so fat, that car doesn't want to run...

Hesitation on tip in is usually lack of fuel.
Mod list and exactly what you did to get the car started or we cannot help you. No use tearing the car apart if the gas is three years old.

Did the car ever run well since it was converted to single turbo? (as in, ran well and you witnessed it yourself)

The wideband would definitely help figure out what's going on.

Can you list some of the mods that you are aware of? It could be anything from a crappy tune to a blown engine.

I hope you didn't pay very much for a car that no one seems to know about and that is probably blown up.

I haven't paid anything for the car yet but as far as I know everything is stock besides the turbo and ecu it has a redom ecu but it is throwing codes it throwing a knock sensor code and a metering oil swith code and to answer the question earlier I had to put some oil in the housings then once it started and cleared out I replaced the plugs

Metering oil pump codes will throw the car into limp mode and give the symptoms you describe. You need to fix that first, above all.

I suggest you take the car to someone who knows them really well. Single turbos require a lot more mods than an ECU change to operate safely and effectively.

Bingo. What he said. The car needs a good looking over by someone who is in the know.
