Need clutch replacement
Need clutch replacement
I have a'90 convertible that has had some work done to it by the former owner( whom i cant get hold of) I need to replace the clutch, but am unsure of what tranny I have, or if it even matters. He did tell me that he has a LSD from an '88 TII, but Is there any way for me to know if he just swapped out the pumpkin of the whole tranny? is there anything I can look at to tell if its an entire TII tranny? What clutch do you recommend. I was looking at exedy organic clutches, just due to their price. any recommendations?
exedy is fine for clutch.
A TII trans will have a window cover to look at the clutch area on the bottom near the engine side of the trans, the N/A does not.
The TII trans has a removable bell housing, the N/A does not.
The TII trans has two fill plugs, I am pretty sure the N/A only has one.

Much appreciated
