coolant issues
alright well this is driving me nuts..... first off i drive an 87 rx7 tII uhhh upgrades maybe non relavent but fmic 3"exhaust ported waste gate and fcd...
now i am having a huge issue with my coolant... damn buzzer will not leave me alone...
Replaced parts:
- thermostat/ gasket
- rad cap
- Coolant sensor
Now im still having this issue where the coolant all gets pushed out into the over flow..and gets hot and bubbles...now i took it to a performance shop"" near my house... they looked it over no leaking hoses, presure test they said was good...
(16lbs) i belive... but they assured me i dont need a head gasket they dont think....
alright this my idea let me know if its plausable... the rad has a block in it or a build up so there is alot of pressure up top on the rad which is cause more pressure at the rad cap and its pissing it all out into the over flow ?
i need help please...
???

sounds like your having the same problems i'm in. i've been searching it for a while and it looks like its a bad coolant seal. i think the exhaust gases get pressureized in the cooling system, and forces out coolant to the resevoir. by the looks of it you basically need a new engine or rebuild it, whatever works for you. i'm not 100% on this but that seems to be whats happening. let me know what you can find out, i'd hate to get rid of my FC because of something like this

ha ha, never know could be head gasket. geez, theres some tools around!! i had a problem with mine a while back. turned out to be air pockets. i drilled a small hole in the thermostat to relieve pressure, and its been fine for about 3000k's now.

Have the shop do an exhaust gas test with the engine running (blue dye). It checks the coolant for exhaust gasses. Also have them check the plug coloration. If you're leaking any significant amount of coolant into the engine it will affect plug coloration. Also, if the problem gets bad enough, you will get chugging or a sound like the engine is only running on one or two spark plugs just following a 12 hour pressure test. At least, that was my experience in the past. Good luck!
One final thought... it could also be either your water pump or heater core. Check the pump to make sure that you don't have any leakage out the "weep" hole on the bottom side of your pump.

I spoke to a guy at Rotary Dynamics and he was great help, instead of just telling me im gunna need 4000 to rebuild it like some one else did he went threw a few things to tell if it was toast and it is so i pulled the motor pulled it appart and there was coolant on the rotors looking threw exh port. now i just need to bring in some dough and get to work.
thanks tho every one...
appreciate it
