Question Na-Turbo help.

Ok guys, I'm a super noob when it comes to turbos. I just got a 1990 turbo rx-7. thing is the guy lied to me it's not a turbo car, it was a NA car some one put a turbo motor in. So, I kinda got burnt I know I'm an idiot and i should of checked it out more before i bought it but i was really stoked it get it. I only paid 1k for it so i don't feel like I got ripped off too badly, but maybe I did. anyways I want too know things i need to check and make sure they are done right before I start driving this thing around. two problems I found so far are that the turbo is leaking oil somewhere it smokes bad from under the hood even if you drive it just a little ways (never messed with taking a turbo out don't even know where to start). second problem is when you first start it it runs fine but right when the Engine kicks down it starts idling Erratically Upppp and downnnn. Last thing I'm wondering about is putting in a boost gauge in it, seeing as it doesn't have one

If there are other forums on this already sorry guys I looked around I did not find anything specific enough to what I'm looking for.

If I punch in Na to TII swap I get 249 threads,so you need to just reword your search.
It has been done before. This question gets asked more that Kim Kardashian gets booty slapped By Kanye.
You can't really get a solid answer to your question as your info given is still limited.
Did he change the Drive train too?..is it a NA Engine that has Turbo engine components?..is the harness still N/A?..Will Captain Kirk ever stop looking at Spock in a sexual way???..(What???..lol!)

Your TPS needs adjusting( look that up too.: TPS adjustment 101. Good thread).
That will take care of the idle jumping...if it isn't a vacuum hose issue from a bad swap install.

Thanks for the TPS tip!

My problem is not finding the post about how to do the swap, my problem is trying to find out what has been done and what hasn't been done. I don't know how to tell if any of the drive train is N/A or turbo. Or what or how to tell if my boost control is step up right or even hooked up. I just need to know major things to check and make sure they are right.

Then you have a lot of work ahead of you, because frankly nobody can really tell from this side either, unless you start you research and then post up pics or info on what the car looks like, what it is doing,or what parts you have on the car..etc,etc,etc.

The Rear diff is easy though..7 ribs on rear case N/A..11 ribs on rear case TII.

Look towards getting a drive shaft shop to replace them.
Mazda wants you to just bite the bullet and get another drive shaft, claiming they are NOT replaceable BUT they can be replaced by a Competent shop.
There may be threads on that subject too.You may even be able to do it yourself.
I myself, would just buy another used shaft and call it a day.( I know people..heh!)

Can I swap a Turbo engine/Jspec engine/13BT/etc into my Non Turbo?
Yes, check these links:

How do I add a turbo to my NA 13B?
What Turbo kits can I add onto my non turbo RX-7?
There are no longer kits formally made at the time of this post, however there are companies from time to time that do make available non turbo to Turbo Kits. Because most of these companies stop building the kits, or go out of business in short time, it is impossible to keep active links for them.

Most people that turbo a non turbo make their own kits:
