hey guys new to this and pretty new to rotary's but learning a lot anyway I have an issue with my 89 na fc rx7 no emissions the regular stuff that ran fine until the other day it started to hesitate and sometimes cuts out when I give it gas not every time will it but most of the time and its not the 3000rpm hesitation because it happens randomly anyway some backstory I took out my fuel pump to find out i ordered the wrong one so I put the oem one back in to which it wouldn't stay alive upon startup so I took it back out and back in and it started fine but sadly never revved it, then the next day I took all the manifolds off for omp delete and after getting it all together I started it up still a good idle and all but that's when I found the hesitation problem anyway the tps is good I checked that I heard it could be fried ecu or spark plugs and a few other things im going to look into that this weekend but im very keen on it being something with the fuel pump on how inconsistent it is and how it cuts out sometimes so any help or ideas would be of help and ill provide a bad video of what its doing. thanks

if you removed the MOP on your S5 car, then it will be in limp mode. if the car only started acting like this after you removed the MOP, then put it back.

 

we will see this weekend then if thats the problem
