My new rx7 has a coolant leak..
By new I mean new to me owning it and I was aware of the leak prior to buying. Was told its a freeze plug in the engine. To pull the trans back, use dry ice to freeze the bad plug, hit it out and remove it. Lol am I on point?

Being told it is a freeze plug and actually finding what is leaking are 2 different things.
Get dirty and find the exact location or you are just doing all that work for nothing.
By the way I am 6 foot six and type with my toes.

Not that often, but it took practice.
By the bye... if you're removing a freeze plug (particularly if you're removing it using dry ice and a hammer) just go ahead and take the engine apart first, then take the housing to a machine shop to verify you didn't stress-crack the aluminum. This isn't your typical cast-iron block.
