I have an 88 vert 13b maderatly ported non turbo and I get what sounds similar to a rod knock during all of the fallowing-- 1st 2ed and 3ed decel louder if in gear decel and sitting still if I rev it at the throttle its a clattering sound clutch in or out makes no difference sound still happens . The harder I hit the throttle the louder the clatter what could it be I know there are no rods to knock the that's the only sound I've ever herd that I can use to explain. Please help hot or cold no difference has spark and fuel runs a lil rich but it has since I bought it hade it just over a year don't seem to make the sound on 4th 5 th decel so lost just point me in the right direction
