My engine clicks...

So my fd makes a clicking noise when I am driving and even after I turn it off it continues for a while. I think it is water boiling and it makes that sound because of the radiator cap? Only happens when it is warm. Just wondering if this clicking noise is common and saw you cant flame me for asking stupid questions in this section

go out and drive the car, when it's up to temp, stop open the hood and look around. try to pinpoint where the noise is coming from specifically

Maybe the seal on radiator cap is gone, cracked, leaking, etc. if you're sure its coming from there, the leak would cause a boiling affect caused by the pressure. Might as well change your thermostat too if you don't know its age. I've seen some messed up thermostats..easy fix too.

Definantly sounds like it is coming from radiator cap. I am going to try to re-bleed the system and put on a new 16pound cap

If it continues to happen, record the sound and post the vid or sound clip.
