Missing Knock sensor wire?
Missing Knock sensor wire?
Hi everyone, i'm looking for a bit of advice of a problem I have, as I can't find any decent information on it.
I'm nearly finished doing an engine swap on a 93 Rx7, and I went from a modified single turbo engine, to a stock engine, and swapping it back to the modified parts, lines, and wiring. During the wiring process, whoever had done the previous mod had cut/hacked a a bunch of wires of the left side of the engine, where the coolant level sensor, oil sending unit, knock sensor, and oil pressure sensor were. I managed to trace and repair everything but the knock sensor, and cannot find the wire from the original harness for the new knock sensor anywhere?
Any help would be very appreciated, as this is the last thing I need to do before I can start it up.. At this point, after a couple hours of frusteration, any help on where to go from here would be very appreciated!

Yes, I did exactly that, and finally found the missing broken wire hidden in some wiring insulation. Soldered the wire back together and good to go. Took me a while to find a computer pin diagram, but I'm good to go. Thank you for the help!

In the future you can go to Foxed.ca and they got Rx7 Manuals..parts and repair manual, electrical stuff etc..
It is one of the better places to get specific stuff.
