Mild/Street port?

Been talking to a friend and he said my 12a 6port might have the 5th and 6th ports modified (Or something along those lines)

Decided to have a look and found a blanking plate on my Lower intake manifold...

from what i UNDERSTAND

theres suppose to be an actuator there that allows 5th and 6th ports for the air intake to be limited
when that actuator is removed...it allows air in..which means less restriction = more power

...right?

That doesn't look like the proper intake manifold for a 12A 6 port. Then again, 12A 6 ports are so rare that I'm not sure I would recognize one if I saw one.

The blockoff plate is to fill in the former location of the ACV. Since headers have been installed, the air pump and emission controls are removed, hence the plate.
