It accelerates standing still but after taking off in 1st gear and trying to shift to 2nd it bogs down and bucks like crazy to the point of putting in back in first and into the garage.
All this happened after mice got in it and it would not start. Orange Mazda had it and after $800 I pulled it. They got it running but not over 3000 RPMs and it would quit.

I replaced Mass Air flow and it now idles well but still had the bucking problem when shifting from 1st to 2nd.

Brought it to another well know garage and they gave me a bill and gave up on finding problem.

Could mice getting into exhaust cause this kind of problem?
Need to fix. I'm second owner. First from Naples FL. 61k miles.
